With the wires removed, measure the DCR ( dc resistance ) of the 802G driver using your multimeter set to measure resistance .


The driver will normally measure @ 6.5 ohms ( +/- .5R ) if it's healthy.


You should also hear something from the driver when connecting the multimeter. It may be quite faint. But something akin to a light click.
